\Scor"o*dite\, n. [G. scorodit; -- so called in
allusion to its smell under the blowpipe, from Gr. ? garlic.]
(Min.)
A leek-green or brownish mineral occurring in orthorhombic
crystals. It is a hydrous arseniate of iron. [Written also
{skorodite}.]
