1. Music; minstrelsy; entertainment. [Obs.] --Chaucer.

2. Joy; merriment; mirth; gayety; paricularly, the mirth
   enjoyed at a feast. --Spenser.

3. (Mus.) An unaccompanied part song for three or more solo
   voices. It is not necessarily gleesome.
